The filmmaker
Born into a Therukkoothu family. Trained as an electronics and communication engineer. I started out in television — Tamilan TV first, then Makkal TV — and came to cinema from there. I learned direction from Velu Prabhakaran and animation from Anbu Thirumagan.

Sankagiri Rajkumar is a fifth-generation Therukkoothu artist. On stage he performs one kind of story only — the greatness of the Tamil kings.
It began in Cambodia in 2018 with the story of Nandivarman. Since then: Kumana Vallal, Adhiyaman, Paari Vallal, the Kadai Ezhu Vallalgal, Thirumudikkari, Rajendra Chola, Raja Raja Chola — carried to Tamil people wherever in the world they live.
In Chicago, USA, he staged the largest Therukkoothu performance in the world and set a Guinness World Record.

What you are buying. Online viewing access to the feature film ONE MAN, priced at ₹112 inclusive of all applicable taxes. This is a digital service, not a physical product; nothing is shipped.
How it is delivered. The film unlocks on this page the moment your payment succeeds. An access code is also emailed to the address you give at payment, so you can open the film again later.
What your purchase includes. One purchase gives you 15 days from the first time the film starts playing, on up to two devices, and lets you watch the film five times. Watching the film through counts as one viewing. You can stop whenever you like and continue from where you stopped, on either device. If your viewings or your 15 days run out, message us on WhatsApp and we will help.
What your access allows. A personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to stream the film for your own private viewing. It is a licence to watch, not a sale of the film.
What is not allowed. Downloading, recording or screen-capturing the film; re-uploading or re-streaming it anywhere; screening it publicly or commercially; selling, publishing or sharing your access code. The film is a copyrighted work and is delivered with DRM protection. Every stream carries a watermark identifying the viewer.
Misuse. If an access code is shared publicly, or the film is copied or redistributed, we may cancel that code without refund and pursue the matter under applicable copyright law.
Availability. We aim to keep the film available continuously, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Brief interruptions for maintenance or by our hosting and streaming providers may occur.
Price. The price may change for future buyers. Access you have already paid for is not affected.
Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts at Salem, Tamil Nadu.
Changes. Any change to these terms will be posted on this page.
What we collect. Your email address and phone number as given to the payment gateway; the payment reference number; the access code issued to you; an anonymous random identifier stored in your own browser so the film can reopen by itself; and a count of how many times the film was opened. If you post a comment, the name, rating and text you type are stored and shown publicly.
Where you watched from. When the film starts playing we record the country your browser reports through its time zone setting, so we know which countries the film is being watched in. Your IP address is not read or stored, and this record is a count by country only — it is not linked to you.
What we never see. We do not collect or store card numbers, UPI IDs, net-banking credentials or bank details. Payment is handled end to end by Razorpay; none of it passes through this site.
Why we collect it. To deliver your access, to email your access code and re-send it if you lose it, to keep one purchase from being shared with the whole internet, and to answer your questions if something goes wrong.
Who else is involved. Razorpay processes payments. VdoCipher delivers and protects the video. Google hosts this site and the records behind it. Each handles your data under its own policy. We do not sell your data, and we do not run advertising or advertising trackers.
Watermark. While the film plays, your mobile number appears faintly over the picture. Only you see it. It exists to discourage recording and re-uploading, and it is not shared with anyone.
Storage in your browser. We keep your access code and the device identifier in your browser so the film opens without you typing anything. Clearing your browser data removes them; you can then enter your access code again.
How long we keep it. For as long as your access is valid. Write to us and we will delete your record — note that your access will stop working once it is deleted.
Children. This site is not directed at children under 13.
